His academic journey includes Duke University, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Stanford University stem cell research, University of Michigan residency training, and fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Amy McClarney is the co-author of Bart the Heart, a children’s book that makes learning about the human body fun and engaging. With her background in healthcare, Amy brings accurate medical concepts into fun anatomy learning for children through creative storytelling. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and later graduated from Brookhaven College with a degree in Radiologic Sciences. Amy lives in Round Rock, Texas, with her husband Matt, daughters Luci and Quinn, and cats Chica and Luna.
